Nominated contact people
On admission to hospital, you will be asked to appoint one or two people who will play a key role in your care.
With your permission, we will discuss your progress and condition with these nominated people, and not with anyone else.
Enquiries about your health
Family and friends can call the hospital at any time to find out about your condition, but only general information is given to callers.
Staff are not authorised to give specific personal information about a patient's treatment or condition to callers over the phone.
